Points Market and Museum Sets
Unlock the museum with History, build plushie and flower sets for points, compare selling items vs exchanging, and spend points on trader unlocks.
By Weav3r
Overview
Points buy bazaars, stock tickers, refills, and more from the Points Building. Flying plushies and flowers is often a points play: complete a set → City Museum → points → sell on the Points Market or spend. Price points live on Points; ignore old Pawn Shop floor advice.
Unlock the museum
- Open Education.
- Complete the History bachelor track.
- Exchange complete sets at the City Museum for points.
Without History finished, you can still fly and sell flowers/plushies as items. You cannot exchange museum sets for points yet.
Build plushie and flower sets
Everyday fly sets need one of each type. A complete set pays 10 points (11 on Museum Day with the usual event bonus). Rarer artifact sets pay far more; they are not the beginner loop. Track gaps on Sets.
Plushie set (13): Jaguar, Lion, Panda, Monkey, Chamois, Wolverine, Nessie, Red Fox, Camel, Kitten, Teddy Bear, Sheep, Stingray.
Exotic flower set (11): Dahlia, Orchid, African Violet, Cherry Blossom, Peony, Ceibo Flower, Edelweiss, Crocus, Heather, Tribulus Omanense, Banana Orchid.

Compare sell-items vs points
Before you exchange, price both exits with live numbers. Example math (replace with today’s figures from Points and the Item Market / your buyers):
| Exit | Worked example | Choose when |
|---|---|---|
| Museum → points → sell | 10 pts × $48,000/pt = $480,000 cash (11 pts on Museum Day → $528,000 at the same mid) | Points mid is firm and set parts are cheap to finish |
| Sell the items | Sum of best realistic asks for the 13 plushies (or 11 flowers) = $520,000 | Component stack sells above 10 × points mid after fees/hassle |
- If items clear for more than 10 × today’s points mid (or 11 × on Museum Day), sell items.
- If points win, finish the set and exchange; sell points when you need cash.
- Museum Day floods points supply. Prices often soften afterward if you are sitting on a pile to sell.
Run the travel → museum loop
- Check Travel Stock for abroad buys worth flying.
- Fly, buy, land (use the short immunity window), stash cash.
- Sell extras to traders / IM / your bazaar, or bank pieces toward a set.
- Exchange complete sets when the points math wins.
- Sell points on the Points Market or spend them below.

Spend points on trader priorities
- Bazaar - 250 points. No-tax selling. First trader unlock for most people. How to trade.
- Stock Ticker - 50 points. Stocks as mug-safe vault + dividends. Stock market.
- Energy / nerve refills - Points Building, when you need a burst of activity more than another unlock.
- Merits - 300 points each (purchase cap rules apply). Later, when a specific merit is worth more than float unlocks. Merits.
For a new trader: bazaar first, ticker when you park capital in stocks, refills when the calendar demands them.
Do this
- Queue the History bachelor if museum exchange is still locked.
- Open Sets and note which plushie/flower types you still need.
- Price one finished set both ways: component asks vs 10 × points mid (11 on Museum Day).
- Spend the first serious points pile on a bazaar (250); grab Stock Ticker (50) when you start parking cash in stocks.
