6. Utility / passive stocks - buy when you want the perk (energy, education, company, firewall), not because they win a cash-ROI sort.

• If you are under the bank cap, shorter bank terms let you compound and top up as cash comes in.
• TCI (1.5M shares, +10% bank interest passive) is often a weak permanent hold on pure ROI. Check live numbers before you bother.
• Second+ increments of the same Active stock cost double each time. A first block of a good ticker usually beats a deep increment of something mediocre.

• Read the red sell warnings - dumping shares mid-cycle can interrupt benefit / dividend progress.
