Organized Crimes 2.0
One member flow for faction OCs: join the right seat, bring the item, finish planning, stay ready for auto-start. Scope table and troubleshooting after that.

Overview
Faction Organized Crimes 2.0 is one pipeline: spawn with scope → fill roles → each seat plans (~24h when set up) → when every seat finishes, the crime auto-starts (short INITIATING phase). Fail any piece and the board looks “broken.”
Solo Crimes 2.0 still matter: they grow the skills and nerve behind your CPR on OC seats.
Faction rules come first
CPR floors, allowed difficulties, item sourcing, and travel bans are faction policy. An empty seat is not permission. Ask yours before you join.
Run the member flow once
- Read Discord / faction forums: which diffs you may touch, CPR floors, item rules.
- Open Faction → Crimes (recruiting list).
- Hover a seat: note role, your CPR, required item.
- If CPR is below the faction minimum, stop. Train solo crimes or pick an easier seat.
- Put the required item in your inventory (not only the armory), then Join.
- Confirm your planning bar is moving (~24 hours per seat when the item is correct).
- Near the end of planning: stay healthy and in Torn (not traveling). When all seats finish, the crime flips to INITIATING and runs on its own if everyone still has tools/materials.
- On success, stash any cash that hits your hand (Keeping money safe).

Fix red flags before joining
Quick readiness check before you take a role.
Read the crimes board
Each spawned scenario shows a name, difficulty (~1-10), status, timer, and role slots. Exact labels can shift; trust the live panel if it disagrees.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Recruiting | Spawned. Seats can be joined. Planning may already run for filled seats. |
| Planning | Progress clocks ticking. Items matter here. |
| INITIATING | Planning done. Short automatic execution if everyone is healthy, in Torn, and geared. |
| Expired | Nobody finished in time. Scope wasted. |
| Successful / Failed | Finished. Check completed tab for rewards or fails. |
Know scope (spawners)
OCs do not auto-flood. Someone with permission spawns them for scope. Leadership must unlock the faction tree branch and assign spawn rights. Most members never touch scope.
| Scenario range | Typical difficulties | Scope to spawn | Scope on success (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1-2 | 1 | 2 |
| 2 | 3-4 | 2 | 3 |
| 3 | 5-6 | 3 | 4 |
| 4 | 7-8 | 4 | 5 |
Scope: spawn cost vs success return (approx.)
Usual pattern; net is +1 scope per successful crime in each row. Check the live spawn UI if Torn moves the numbers.
- Unused scenarios can expire (often cited around 7 days). Spawning junk nobody can fill burns scope.
- If the faction “has no OCs,” it is usually no permission, no tree unlock, no scope, or spawners asleep.
Check CPR before you join
CPR (checkpoint pass rate) is your chance to clear that seat’s checks when the crime runs. It is not battle stats. It comes from natural nerve / CE, skill in the matching crime family, and role fit.
- Factions often set a CPR floor (community tools default alerts around ~60%; hard OCs may want 70%+).
- Joining a hard seat at 20% CPR because it was empty is how fails happen.
- Bad CPR → do matching solo crimes (Crimes basics + Emforus) or ask leadership which seats you may take.
Fix stuck planning
Planning freezes almost always mean a missing item or an invalid seat. Say it once: item in your inventory so your bar can run; without it the game can skip you then freeze the crime when it is your turn.
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| My bar not moving | Missing required item | Put the item in inventory |
| Everyone else done, crime frozen | One seat still missing item / invalid | Ping that person or kick/replace per faction rules |
| I joined late | Your 24h started later | Normal - others may finish first |
| Crime disappeared | Expired, finished, or failed | Check history / Discord |
| Kicked from the seat | Low CPR, wrong role, missing item, or rank rules | Ask leadership - do not rejoin the same bad seat |
Handle rewards and fails
- Success - faction money, respect, sometimes items; scope returns above spawn cost on a good loop.
- Fail - no payout, time wasted, possible jail.
- Payout splits are faction policy. Leadership will split the cash according to how they see fit.
Lead spawns cleanly
- Unlock the tree, set permissions, keep a small scope buffer.
- Spawn difficulties your roster can fill with solid CPR and items in armory.
- Kick or replace seats that freeze the board.
- Publish CPR floors and which diffs rookies may touch.
- War weeks: decide whether OCs pause. Do not strand people in planning during enlist chaos.
Do this
- Confirm faction rules for this diff / seat.
- Look at the seat → CPR ok → item in inventory → Join.
- Stay healthy and in Torn for auto-start.
- After completion, check completed tab for rewards or fail, then check if there is another OC worth joining.
