What the onboarding opt-ins mean, and a sensible order for setting up a new account.

Onboarding opt-ins
First login asks which optional scans you want. Change them later in Settings → API.

| Unregistered Bazaar Scanning | Helps scan bazaars of players who are not registered here. |
| Item Market Scanning | Feeds item market prices used on the site. |
| Ranked Weapon Scanning | Feeds listings for the Ranked Weapons tool. |
| Faction Scanning | Faction-related lookups via your key. |
| Personal Stats | Shares personal stat snapshots for leaderboards and related features. |
| Display Case Scanning | Scans public display cases via Torn's display selection to catalog collectibles. |
Rate limits
Scanning stays within Torn API limits. Opting in spreads load across users and keeps data fresher.
Suggested setup order
- Finish onboarding.
- Build a pricelist at Edit Pricelist. Those prices power Search Deals, Sell mode, and cost basis for profit.
- Install the Trading Companion so trades create receipts.
- Do a trade, then check Trading (Purchases on free; Incoming with Premium).
- Optional: customize homepage quick links (up to 10), try the home intent finder, and star a few Favorites.
